With the money, he opened his own record label, which he called No Limit Records. After opening it, he launched his first rap album entitled “Get Away Clean”, which he promoted by himself and sold in 250 thousand copies. The second album came in 1992, entitled “Mama's Bad Boy”, then a third (“The Ghettos Tryin' to Kill Me”, 1994), a fourth (“99 Ways to Die”, 1995) and a fifth in 1996 (“Ice Cream Man”). One of his most appreciated albums was his seventh, “Ghetto D”, which sold more than 750 thousand copies. However, his musical style changed substantially after having a son (Romeo), going from violent and criminal to a more profound tone, his lyrics being dominated by revolt against social injustice and poverty.
He opened a foundation designed to help young people with rough family backgrounds and poor financial resources find their way, called P. Miller Youth Centers and, also one designed to help people without a roof over their head, P. Miller Food Foundation for the Homeless.
But since Master P was a businessman, he decided to expand. Thus, in the next few years, he invested in sports (even trying to become a professional basketball player), opened his own film production company, developed his own travel agency, and his own line of clothes – just to be sure that he would stay afloat with one of his businesses if things started to go wrong.
Even if No Limit Records passed through substantial changes and, even ceased to exist at a certain point, it still produces quality rap music. More than that, Master P is a published author. His book, Guaranteed Success When You Never Give Up, appeared in libraries in 2007.
A name on the hip-hop scene, Master P released his last album, “From the hood to Hollywood” in 2015. With all his money producing activities, it should not be a surprise that Master P’s revenues have reached a considerable sum – even $600 million in a period. Right now, Master P net worth is of $350 million.
