Well, Sarah Palin’ net worth is at $12 Million. Which means that she would gain this much in cash if she sold her significant possession and pay off all her debts, in theory of course. What makes her net worth so much? She is indeed a polarizing public figure. There are people who love her, and there are who hate her. But she definitely had an extraordinary career.
She has not always been into politics or television though. She participated in a couple of beauty contests as well and she won the Miss Wasilla Paegant competition in 1984. She however did not focus on this field and aimed her interests elsewhere.
After a short period spent in this fields, she started focusing on her studies, and received a Bachelor’s degree in Communication in 1987 with an emphasis in journalism. This degree will serve her well in later years.
She started her political career in the City Council of Wasilla in 1992 and by 1996, she became the Mayor of Wasilla, and in 1999 she was elected president of the Alaska Conference of Mayors.
In 2006 she was victorious on defeating the former Democratic governor, and became Alaska’s first female governor. In 2008, she was in the centre of political spotlight when presidential hopeful John McCain chose her as his running mate. Unfortunately, they lost the election, that caused a big disappointment - but Palin kept her status as one of the most well-known personalities in politics. She surprised the public in 2009, when she decided to not going for re-election, and resigned as a governor.
After this, she started working with Fox News. They fell in an out of love with each other. The first period lasted till 2013, when they ended their relationship. However, she re-joined the channel by June 2013 as a paid contributor when she was reported to sign a $1 million dollar / year contract.
It seems that Fox News finally fell out of love with her; they fired her in June, 2015. It took a lot of time for Fox News to sever ties with her, however, she was demoted some time ago due to her attitude. They say, she was not the best when it came to live television. She was just not good for that, and was not relevant anymore.
Her career in politics and television is polarizing. There are haters and lovers of her. Haters don’t mind this outcome, however, lovers should not feel sorry for her either. She still runs a TV showon the Sportsman Channel ("Amazing America with Sarah Palin"). There are presumably paid subscribers to the Sarah Palin Channel, and she's got her PAC (Political Action Committee). But hate her or lover her, she is one lady you cannot ignore.
