Goldwyn was born in Los Angeles in 1960 into a famous family of actors, producers, playwrights, media moguls and politicians. He attended a number of colleges and universities, among them Hamilton College in Clinton, Brandeis University in Waltham and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
The role that brought him the first success was in Ghost – in the film he plays the former friend of Patrick Swayze’s character who later turns out to be a traitor. He appeared in other large productions during the 1990’s, too – he played in The Pelican Brief, in Nixon, in Pocahontas: The Legend, he lent his voice to Tarzan in the animated feature film and played the role in the video game, too.
